I am using a new ingredient in my brand new Body Balm – something called EcoSilk – it’s 100% natural and derived from Coconut and it gives this balm a lovely silky texture so it spreads easily making it light and rather elegant! The essential oil blend in this recipe focuses rather on the Italian – Almond and Orange – I love it!!! Apply Body Balm to damp skin after bathing, or as I do, which is just wherever and whenever I can.

This is AMAZING!!!!! I love it so much. I am completely addicted to it. I am usually pretty lazy about using body lotions – but this is so gorgeous I am using it all the time. Often with natural products, you sacrifice ease of absorption. But the texture of this is perfect – not greasy at all, easy to apply, my skin absorbs it immediately and feels beautifully silky. And it smells delicious! I even found myself sniffing my own arm during the day, just to inhale the beautiful scent!!

I love, love, love this stuff! It smells amazing and makes my skin feel lovely and soft, especially after shaving my legs. You need to turn this Essential Oil combination into a perfume please!

Just WONDERFUL – my eczema was getting worse, more inflamed, constantly painful, and I started using this only; within a few days the inflammation had reduced so much I could actually see my natural skin surface appearing across my whole hand for the first time in 5 years. That was a couple of months ago, I hardly ever have itchy inflamed skin now and, despite it being cold and wet (I live in the high wilds of the Borders), my skin hardly has any cracks or irritated patches. Unexpected bonus to this product… As a wee addendum to my earlier review: having made the rookie error of believing the weather forecast when it said it would be cloudy and low temp all day, I got sunburnt, including on my face. After-sun lotions rarely do much for me so I used this on everything – even my face – and had a result that surprised even me: apart from a mild tingling for the first few minutes, very little in the way of tight burny feeling, even in my face, and absolutely none of that stingy-scratchy experience you might also know from when you get into bed and your sunburn lets you know about it. Vastly reduced peeling from what I’d expect from the level of sunburn and no crop of spots from using it on my face. Totally stunned by this, what an amazing balm!

I use it for that too! I have to admit that these days I’m pretty good at putting on the stuff that stops sunburn happening in the first place – (I’m fair skinned so I have to be vigilant) but we all get caught out sometimes – or ‘miss a bit’. I believe it’s the Shea Butter – it’s very calming on irritated skins, plus the Sandalwood and Frankincense oils are very good for dry skins so a double bonus. Glad it’s working for you! Siobhan x
