We are gradually reformulating all of our products and the great news is that this product is now Palm Oil Free and Vegan Friendly!
I stumbled for some time how best to do this one as the Shaving Soap Bowls for our Sandalwood Shaving Soap are made by our local potter. We think they are fab and wouldn’t want to get anything mass-produced, but as with everything that’s hand-made, they are not all exactly the same size so after much thought I settled to make an ‘average-size’ refill. In some cases this will fit easily into your pot and in some, you may have to sculpt your refill slightly with a knife to fit it into your pot – it’s all good fun really. Please don’t force a soap that is too large into your pot – it is ceramic – it may break!

In the good spirit of buying local and supporting other makers in Cumbria, I have my local potter make all of my ceramic Shaving Pots for me. They are all individually hand thrown which means not all pots are the same…. the nature of hand-crafted means that not all pots are perfectly round or exactly the same size so there is some variation in the appearance and size of the pots.

Naturally occurring Naturally occurring citral, Geraniol, Farnesol, Limonene
