So….. you have an aching back? You’ve spent too long at the desk/in the garden/under the car/playing with the kids? Whatever it is you’ve done too much of – now is the time to take some time out to soak away the aches and pains of the day in some Long Day Bath Salts.
I’ve chosen oils that are known to be anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic – ideal for back pain, cramped, tired or sore muscles. Just chuck a handful of salt and a chunk of cinnamon under your running hot bath water – and relax…………This is my choice of Pringle and Fairweather Bath Salts to use after a long day making in the workshop.
We now sell our salts in a handy bag for refilling your empty jar – this saves your recycling and saves pennies at the same time. Our bag is degradable though so we pack these when you order them – please don’t store them – put your salts in their jar as soon as you receive them.
Siobhan says...
Bath Salts benefit your skin in more ways than one – they contain many beneficial minerals and nutrients that are easily absorbed into the skin and are also known to cleanse and purify our skin drawing out oil, dirt and impurities from the skin, improving our skins tone and texture. These are some of the minerals and their benefits – Magnesium helps fight stress and combat fatigue, Calcium keeps water retention in check and promotes healthy bones, Potassium balances moisture levels in the skin, bromide soothes tired muscles and good old sodium helps manages the balance of lymphatic fluid. In translation this means…….relax and de-stress; detox and deep-clean your body; relieve your aches and pains; stimulate circulation and beat bloating, clear your sinuses,……and finally……sleep like a baby. Can you imagine the therapeutic benefit of our blends of Essential Oils on top of all this? Now you’ll understand why people are flocking back to the bathtub! – especially at the end of a long day.

This worked brilliantly for me. I have shoulder and back pain and after a soak, my joints always felt less stiff. Plus, the eucalyptus gives it an uplifting scent.
